Ishiwatari: I knew it was “Cocone! I was worried recently that I couldn’t describe in one word what Cocone is like. Lately, I have been struggling to describe what Cocone is in a few words, but when I saw this group of people, I suddenly thought, “Maybe it doesn’t have to be easy to describe in a few words. I suddenly thought, “Maybe it doesn’t have to be easy to put into words, maybe it’s okay if it’s not easy to put into words. This is what Cocone is all about.

L.S: I and the NHN group followed the chairman. Everyone else, how did you get in?

I.C: From a job site, I was interested in artificial intelligence and voice recognition.

L.S: Yeah, it’s connected. That’s certainly the kind of thing we’re moving toward.

S.M: I had the concept that I wanted to do something for people in Cocone…

Ishiwatari: When you entered the company, was it actually that kind of company?

S.M: Yes, it is. That has always been followed and confirmed. It’s like, “You have to do something for the world, otherwise what’s the point of the company?” That’s how I see it. Come to think of it, I was interested in language applications at first. I focused on Pokecolo for a while as a company, but now I am working with I.C. again for the first time in a long time, and I am in charge of languages. I’m working with Mr. I.C. again for the first time in a long time. You are heading straight for your goal, aren’t you?

N.A: I came to the interview because I wanted to do dress-up and avatar work.
